SYBOR partners with NetIQ to provide remote application management services to customers worldwide from India
 

Sets up a dedicated Network Operating Center in Bangalore, India and will be the premier reseller for the NetIQ® AppManager® Suite in India

 
 

Bangalore, November 30, 2006: SYBOR Solutions India, a wholly owned subsidiary of SYBOR Technologies Inc. based in Houston, Texas, today announced that it has entered into a strategic alliance with NetIQ, an Attachmate company, a leading provider of integrated remote administration and security management solutions, to bring performance and availability solutions from NetIQ to India. Under the terms of the agreement, SYBOR will also set up a Network Operating Centre (NOC) in Bangalore to provide remote application management services to Attachmate’s NetIQ Remote Application Management (nRAM) customers worldwide from India. SYBOR will also serve as a certified training consultant for NetIQ customers in India.

The Network Operating Centre is being set up with a total investment of half a million US dollars. It will be connected to a redundant data center in Houston with both centres acting as mutual backup disaster recovery centres with inbuilt redundancy. SYBOR will provide always-on support, comprehensive health checks, deep real-time diagnosis, advanced analysis and reporting, and “On Demand” deployment monitoring to customers worldwide from the NOC.

SYBOR will also be a premier reseller of NetIQ’s modular performance and availability management solution, AppManager Suite, to Indian customers. AppManager enables IT organizations to implement best practices that ensure operational integrity, manage service level agreements and monitor policies and compliance requirements more effectively. SYBOR will also support onsite consulting in Europe for NetIQ products and provide product development and customization support to SYBOR US for NetIQ products.

Limited bandwidth, constrained skill-sets in IT, rising costs of onsite IT support and shrinking IT budgets have led to increasing demand for remote application management services across the world. According to industry estimates, approximately $17.9 billion was spent worldwide on application management services in 2004. Due to a strong surge in demand for application management services, the worldwide market is expected to grow at an overall compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.2% and reach $27.2 billion by 2009.

Remote application management is being favoured in more IT organizations as it increases service availability by reducing the response time to incidents and providing more detailed root cause data and increased visibility into IT infrastructure costs through trending data related to performance usage and capacity.
